INTERVIEWS WITH CLIENTS
In addition, with CKY’s upcoming 60th anniversary and our third generation in the
family joining the firm, we do hope our collaboration will continue into the future.
Instead of being the sole practitioner in CKY, we now have five practising partners
and the mode of business slightly varies.
LI I think this is very ideal! Joseph, you are no longer on the frontline and the
younger generation will grow and possess professional knowledge like you did
over time. However, your way of handling relationships and business deals, as
well as your experience and attitude, the young ones would not learn right away.
They still require your guidance and further inheritance of these valuable
attributes. In fact, a lot of people are facing the similar dilemma of transition of
power within a business. One important point I would like to add. Being
professional and compliant with all standards and rules are the prerequisite of
being an auditor. On top of that, Joseph’s willingness to learn and understand
each industry and enterprise allows him to grow his knowledge exponentially.
When a person becomes knowledgeable, his/her perception and judgement
become different and exceptional.
If a person acquires more understanding and knowledge about his servicing
customer, profession and the business environment as a whole, his professional
judgement would come naturally and become accurate. He is then able to
provide effective and efficient solutions to solve corporate issues under the
compliance framework, thus establishing the cornerstones for long-term
collaboration with clients.
Thank you for your words of wisdom! I believe our readers would reflect upon JY
your advice. Thank you again for accepting our interview.
LI I would like to thank you all. Wish for our ongoing collaboration, and I look
forward to CKY’s hundredth year milestone!
