It seems that a new era has arrived for Hong Kong and I am hopeful that we can

have more similar collaborations to let people from outside of Hong Kong to
comprehend the real situation here. People have been divided in the past two
years due to social unrest and pandemic.

Regardless of the actions of the Hong Kong government, businesses and
professional practices in Hong Kong, we must work together and show to other
countries the real situation and advantages of operating a business in Hong Kong
when compared to the Mainland. For example, accounting firms or other
constituents in the financial servicing industry in Hong Kong may hold
conferences or any networking activities overseas, like what we both did
previously. These activities not only allow the professional firms to seek new
opportunities and expand their businesses, but also help outsiders to know more
about Hong Kong which is a charitable and socially responsible act. I believe that
such activities shall be constantly held in the future.

Indeed! We previously collaborated twice in this regard, and I agree we should JY
advocate for such work on an ongoing basis after the pandemic alleviates.
Jackeline, would you like to ask a question? Jackeline has been with CKY handling
the annual audit of GFS since six to seven years ago.

Madam President, may we ask about your impression of our Mr Joseph Yau and JK

other management levels?

LI As earlier discussed, the collaboration between GFS and CKY started because of
my initial engagement with Joseph, and the continuation of our collaboration is
also because of Joseph! Every company requires talents to handle the operation,
and Joseph has given us a deep impression of professionalism since the first time
we interacted with him, then formal business engagements, then up to this point
of time after two decades.

Joseph’s professional knowledge is very extensive, covering taxation, accounting,

corporate consultancy and management, as well as understanding the
development of each industry. In addition, although Joseph does not speak
much, his personal image and action show us his trustworthiness and
commitment in building trust. These attributes are very essential for any
cooperation between corporations in particular in the field of audit.

Thank you for the compliment! We have known for more than twenty years and JY
treated each other as friends instead of business clients. We have been open and
transparent to each other in most circumstances and I am truly grateful.
