邱賢君會計師在1982年考獲加拿大的註冊工業會計師(隨後改名為加拿大認可管理會計師)。及後
於1988年他與兩位志同道合的會友一起成立了加拿大英屬哥倫比亞省認可管理會計師公會(香港
分會)以增強港加兩地會計師的聯繫，並於1991年當選該分會的主席。在2015年，加拿大三個專
業會計師會包括特許會計師、認可管理會計師及註冊會計師合併為加拿大特許專業會計師公會，
而其香港分會聯絡處便設於本會計師行。

In 1982, Mr Joseph Y K Yau obtained the designation of RIA (Registered Industrial Accountant,
which was subsequently renamed as the Certified Management Accountant). In 1988, together
with other two fellow members, Mr Joseph Y K Yau founded the Certified Management
Accountants Society of British Columbia, Canada (Hong Kong Branch) to facilitate interactions
between local members and other professional accountants in Hong Kong. Later on he became
the President of the Branch in 1991. In 2015, the Society merged with the Canadian Chartered
Accountants and The Canadian Certified General Accountants to form the Chartered
Professional Accountants of Canada. Its Hong Kong Chapter official address is registered with
CKY’s office up to now.
