RETROSPECT AND PROSPECT
Youth of today may sometimes neglect this essence. In addition, they
embrace the ideals of living at the moment and not planning ahead for their
future. It is not the attitude, but the development of their mindset, that
concerns me sometimes.
To truly help them, we shall place ourselves in their position and be involved
with them. What they undergo nowadays could be as challenging as what
our generation experienced in the past. Instead of asking them to look up to
us and follow our way, it may also be practical that we reach out to them
with respect. Admire them that they could be shaped and elevated to devote
and serve the future society wholeheartedly, which would benefit them for
a lifetime.
Traditional candidates in the accounting industry are generally prudent and
less expressive. I hope CKY would aspire the colleagues to enhance their
communication skills through in-house training and allow them to articulate
their ideas and viewpoints to every client. Interaction with clients is the main
key to a business.
CKY will be celebrating its 60th anniversary which is a truly proud milestone. JY
What is your feeling towards this?
LY CKY must maintain its sense of purpose-commit to serve the clients
wholeheartedly and motivate our colleagues to be passionate. I believe one
would become proactive and take initiative in learning and working hard if
he/she is genuinely passionate about his/her career. I know it is challenging
and easier to say than done.
If CKY, together with its staff members, adapt to the rapid changes in the
business environment and embrace constant development, we are able to
sustain our success story.
