“Hong Kong has been progressing for so many years, and the current economic

condition in Hong Kong is rather different from the past. Take labour cost as an

example, it used to be at a reasonable and practical level, yet it has been
continuously surging. Companies without a certain business scale would face

many difficulties, and small companies enjoy less opportunities for business

development.” said Mr Yamamoto Kinji. CKY has been working with San-A (HK)
Limited for more than fifty years and is an important client. We are very
honoured to invite the founder Mr Yamamoto Kinji, Mr Li Chi Wing and Mr

Tsunoda Kazuji (son-in-law of Mr Yamamoto Kinji) to have a great discussion
with Joseph and Janice about this long term collaboration, and the past and

future development of Hong Kong.

I am delighted to invite our close partner, San-A (HK) Limited, for a dialogue.
Firstly, I would like to express my utmost gratitude to Mr Yamamoto, Mr Li
and Mr Tsunoda for accepting this interview. Instead of being very formal, I
hope the interview will be more of a casual chat. Over thirty years is like a
blink of an eye, which is the number of years I have known Mr Yamamoto.
Mr Yamamoto was already our client before I joined CKY.

YK You are right. Ms Lindy W W Yau was in-charge of contacting us before you,

and prior to that was H N Li & Company. It has already been more than five
decades of business relationship.

I recalled my first collaboration with Mr Li was a business trip to Taiwan after JY
I returned to Hong Kong. Do you still remember?

LI I remember! We travelled there to perform an audit for our branch office.

It was the first time I travelled for an audit in a business class cabin, and it JY
gave me an impression that being an auditor had good benefits (laughter).
Of course, that is one of a few isolated occasions.

LI I recalled we were triggered by certain accounting affairs thus we were

required to conduct this business trip to Taiwan.
