I charge consultancy fees from these institutions and offer business and
psychology advisory to the senior management as an executive coach, which
aims to help them overcome trials. For example, if I observe loopholes in the
management of a company or its company resources are not well utilised, I
can provide guidance and strategies from a fresh perspective for the clients.

By the way, would you like to share with our readers regarding my father Mr JY
Richard Yau, who is also the founder of CKY?

WT Uncle Yau’s first impression struck me as an amiable and lively gentleman with

a great sense of humour. I recalled running into him on the street and I asked
him where he was heading. He told me he was going to the market to buy
some stocks. I later realised he meant stock market, not wet market (giggle).
Mr Yau was diligent, adaptive, willing to learn and having deep understanding
in the investment market, which led him to establish HKSC and CKY which
continued to strive up to now.

Let’s circle back and discuss accounting and auditing firms like our Company. JY
How do you find the future development of these industries and what are
                       their most pressing challenges?

WT Manpower is absolutely essential in order to effectively run the sectors and

thus, staffing should be considered the core challenge.

In the first place, many college graduates do not possess practical knowledge

and do not fully understand how their accounting skills could be applied in the
commercial world. As such, it is an obvious and straightforward career choice
to first join an accounting or audit firm. After receiving on-the-job training and
a number of years of practical experience, it is commonplace that many of the
workers would choose to move to other commercial positions. Although only
a few of the talents might choose to continue staying in these practising firms,
it remains achievable as long as the employers show appreciation for their
potential and provide opportunities for growth. Though a lot of them pay the
collateral cost of having less time with family.

As CKY is entering its 60th anniversary, what are your standpoints for our JY

                       company’s future prospects?
